What is Alpha?
Alpha is a sort of back-to-basics course in the Christian faith.
We think and reflect on some of the fundamental truths of the Gospel.
Things like –
Who is Jesus, really?
Why did he die?
How do I pray?
How can I be filled with the Spirit?
At some time in or adult lives we need to stop and ask ourselves:
- do I really believe this – what I learnt at school?
- what do I really believe?
- is there something – something spiritual – missing in my life?
Where and when
We start with dinner, followed by an introductory video. You get to ask all the questions you have. You can sign up then, or go and think about it.
Fourteen meetings follow.
The Dinner will be on Sunday, 27th April at 7 p.m.
{We could run a daytime meeting for those who find it hard to come out at night, if enough ask for it.}
We'd love to have you join us. Just fill in your name below so we will know you are coming. We need to know for the cooks; they get upset if people turn up and they haven't prepared enough food.
Or you can ring the office (09) 534 8710
Or email Father Terry

Meanwhile why don't you watch one of the videos on this page, and see what others have got out of it?
and maybe get some idea of what it might be like for you...
