What is Alpha?
Alpha is a sort of back-to-basics course in the Christian faith.
We think and reflect on some of the fundamental truths of the Gospel.
Things like –
Who is Jesus, really?
Why did he die?
How do I pray?
How can I be filled with the Spirit?
At some time in or adult lives we need to stop and ask ourselves:
- do I really believe this – what I learnt at school?
- what do I really believe?
- is there something – something spiritual – missing in my life?
Where and when
We start with dinner, followed by an introductory video. You get to ask all the questions you have. You can sign up then, or go and think about it.
Fourteen meetings follow.
This year we started on 27th April. So we are now 4 weeks into Alpha; you may think you have missed too much of the start, especially if Christianity is new to you.
But we would love to hear from you, and if there were enough wanting Alpha we could just fit in another season this year.

No question is too dumb. We'll let you explore it.
