Alpha Course

What is Alpha?

Alpha is a sort of back-to-basics course in the Christian faith.
We think and reflect on some of the fundamental truths of the Gospel.
Things like –

Who is Jesus, really?
Why did he die?
How do I pray?
How can I be filled with the Spirit?

Where and when

We didn't have an Alpha course this year, partly because the Parish had other priorities.

But if you give us your name now, we will make sure you hear of it when it is due, hopefully in the first half of 2025.
And if your reason for attending Alpha was to get a taste of the Catholic Church, we could do that in other ways. Get in touch here.

We start with dinner, followed by an introductory video. You get to ask all the questions you have. You can sign up then, or go and think about it.
Fourteen meetings follow.

We could run a daytime meeting for those who find it hard to come out at night, if enough ask for it.
We'd love to have you join us. Just fill in your name below so we will know you are coming. We need to know for the cooks; they get upset if people turn up and they haven't prepared enough food.

No question is too dumb. We'll let you explore it.
