Howick Parish. Our Lady, Star of the Sea.

Welcome
"Let us try and model the compassion of Christ"
Dear Everyone:
I will be away on Sabbatical Leave in Rome from 01 September to 30 November this year- and we are grateful indeed to Father Rodney Smyth SM who will be coming here to live-in during my absence and be a support for Fr Terry in the pastoral care of the parish.
Did you know that in 2023 both our Parish and our Parish School celebrate the 175th Anniversary of their founding by Bishop Jean-Baptiste Pompallier in 1848. That was when he sent Father Antoine Marie Garin SM to Howick as our founding Parish Priest. 2023 is going to be a year of growth and renewal in the parish and we hope and pray you will be part of that.
God bless you all
Father John
